• Lawns must be located in Abbotsford or Mission 
• Not be watered (dormant), but still kept and mowed 
• Bonus points will be awarded to properties that have waterwise alternatives; such as waterwise perennials, river rock or stones 
• Bonus points will also be awarded to properties that have vegetable gardens

• First place: $150 off water utility bill 
• Second place: $75 off water utility bill
• Third place: $50 off water utility bill

*This contest is open to residents of Abbotsford and Mission only. Those who reside in the Clearbrook Waterworks District are not eligible to participate in the contest. Mission residents on a metered or non-metered water system, will receive a cheque, as opposed to a credit on a quarterly utility bill. Note that this option will be in effect for winning Mission residents only. Abbotsford residents will receive credit on their water utility bill.

All prizes must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions are permitted.

Complete the webform below and include your first and last name, the address of the property photographed, contact information, and a photo submission. You may submit a maximum of three photos. 

Submission deadline: 12 midnight, Sunday, October 15, 2023. Entry is limited to one contest entry per address. Winners will be announced by November 15, 2023. 

By submitting the photos, you authorize the City of Abbotsford and City of Mission to use them in promotional material including on social media platforms.
